Media faced immense pressure under PTI government

 PTI government introduced draconian laws to control the media and targeted independent journalists and media groups  

Imran Khan is claiming that the media was free under his government. But this claim is incorrect. Pakistani media faced many problems and pressures from the PTI government. Many prominent journalists and anchors were banned from news channels. Some news channels were took off air. Hundreds of journalists lost jobs and media groups faced financial problems. 

Pakistani media faced one of the worst periods of history under the PTI government.
