Maryam Nawaz apologises for inappropriate tweet on Arshad Sharif's death

 She also deleted her earlier retweet in which deceased anchor was mocked

PML-N Vice President and daughter of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif -Maryam Nawaz Sharif apologised for an insensitive re tweet relating to the gruesome murder of Pakistan’s senior journalist and prominent anchorperson Arshad Sharif in Kenya.

Taking to her Twitter account, Maryam said that her tweet was not aimed at mocking someone but at learning our lessons from the past. "I am undoing the tweet & apologise for the hurt it may have caused to the aggrieved which never was my intention. Extending her condolences to the bereaved family of Arshad Sharif, the PML-N leader said: May no one ever has to go through this pain."

Maryam Nawaz faced strong reaction from journalist community and ordinary citizens for making insensitive remarks about the slain journalist. She provided an opportunity to her opponents to criticise her for her insensitive approach and inhumane attitude. 

It is good to see that she finally realised the mistake she made and apologised.
