860 PPP candidates elected unoppose in the first phase of Sindh local government elections 2022
Most PPP candidates unopposed from Sanghar, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Umerkot and Tharparkar
The voting is still underway in 14 districts of Sindh for the first phase of Sindh local government elections 2022. When the results will start to pour in after the closing of voting at 5 pm, PPP will be far ahead compare to its main rivals in Sindh.
More than 860 PPP candidates have already elected unoppose in different districts. PPP candidates elected unoppose on the seats of district councils, municipal corporations, municipal and town committees and union councils.
132 candidates elected from Sanghar, 114 from Jacobabad, 103 from Kashmore,74 from Umerkot and 71 from Tharparkar districts. Sukkur, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, 60 from Mirpurkhas, 67 from Ghotki, Sukkur, Khairpur, Larkana, 69 from Qambar-Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, 63 from Naushahro Feroze, 59 from Shaheed Benazirabad, 26 from Shikarpur and 26 from Khairpur.
Nearly 100 independents, JUI-F, GDA and NPP candidates also elected unoppose.
