Cabinet Division denotified PTI chairman Imran Khan as Prime Minister

 The Cabinet Division has issued a notification stating that Imran Khan is no more the prime minister of Pakistan

The Cabinet Division has issued a notification stating that Imran Khan is no more the prime minister of Pakistan. He can stay in office till a new PM is notified but he has effectively been denotified. 

He might continue as a lame duck Prime Minister without having an executive authority. If Supreme Court refused to intervene in the National Assembly proceedings on vote of no-confidence then the process of appointing an interim Prime Minister will be initiated. 

How the matters will be solved in the coming days largely depends on the decision of the Supreme Court. Imran Khan has played his last trump card in violation of constitution and now matter is in the court of SC.
