57% Pakistanis are happy over imran Khan's removal from power-Gallup survey
43% are not happy that Imran Khan was ousted from power without completing its five years term revealed a Gallup survey
57% people in Pakistan are happy that former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been ousted from power through a vote of no-confidence in the National Assembly, while 43% people are not happy over his removal from power. This was revealed by a latest Gallup Pakistan survey.
The survey was conducted among 1,000 men and women in more than 100 districts shortly after Saturday night’s confidence vote, according to reports. Those unhappy with Imran Khan’s ousting still saw Khan as an honest politician, while the anger against Khan was mainly driven by the failing economy, the poll found.
Of those who said the former PM's ouster was a positive development, “most complain his government was unable to sort out the inflation,” the poll added in its comments. “For those who are unhappy, the highest reason stated was that former Prime Minister Imran Khan was an honest person.” Insight247.news
