Punjab assembly election results 2022-AAP is heading for a landslide victory
Aam Aadmi Party is leading on 84 out of 117 seats early trends are showing
According to the early results of Punjab assembly elections 2022, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is heading for a land slide victory. The AAP is leading on 84 out of 117 assembly seats. The Congress is leading on 15 seats while Akali dal is leading on 9 seats. BJP is also leading on 5 seats.
According to the early results, Congress leader and former cricketer Navjot Singh is trailing in his constituency while Punjab Chief Minister Punjab chief
minister Charanjit Singh Channi is trailing in the two assembly seats, Chamkaur
Sahib and Bhadaur.
Channi, a three-time MLA, has thrice represented Chamkaur
Sahib since 2007. The Congress fielded Channi from Bhadaur seat also in an
effort to make inroads in the Malwa region, considered a stronghold of the Aam
Aadmi Party.
Former Chief Minister Cap Amrinder Singh also trailing in the early results.
