Peshawar mosque blast- 30 people martyred nearly 50 injured

Bomb exploded during Jumma prayers in a Jamia Mosque in Peshawar area of  Qisa Khawani Bazar 

According to spokesperson of Lady Reading Hospital, 30 people have been martyred and nearly 50 injured in a powerful bomb explosion inside a mosque in Peshawar.  10 injured are in a critical condition. 

The blast took place when people were busy in Jumma prayers in Qisa Khawani area of Peshawar. Police officials havn't confirmed the deaths so far. According to the initial investigations of the police, the suicide bomber exploded himself in the mosque during the Jumma prayers.  

Police and rescue personnel have reached the blast site while the injured are being shifted to the city's Lady Reading Hospital.

The rescue teams are rushing the injured to Lady Reading Hospital, while residents and people of the neighbourhood are also helping in transporting the injured on their motorcycles and cars.

Police and security teams have cordoned off the area and started to collect evidence.
