NA-133 Lahore by poll results- PML-N wins with the margin nearly 14500 votes

PML-N bagged 46811 votes while PPP secured 32313 votes 

According to the results of all the 254 polling stations, PML-N candidate Shaista Pervaiz Malik has won the NA-133 Lahore by-elections with the margin of 14500 votes. PML-N got 46811 votes while PPP bagged 32313 votes. The PML-N successfully retained its seat won in 2018 general elections by its candidate Parvaiz Malik who died couple of months ago. His wife Shaista Malik contested the elections on PML-N and retained the seat. 

PPP has also been able to increase its vote from 5585 it bagged in  2018 to 32313 votes. This constituency was a PPP strong hold from 1970 to 1988. But PML-N started to dominate this constituency since 1990. PML-N only lost this constituency once in 2002 since 1990. 

PPP ran a strong campaign and succeeded to made  inroads into some areas of this constituency. PPP won many women polling stations and also performed well in minority Christian areas.  

The turnout was very low at 18.58%.
