Sindh government announced to close all public places
Sindh
government in its Task Force on COVID-19 meeting decided to take further
measures and actions to curb the coronavirus in Sindh province. The total number
of confirmed coronavirus patients has reached to 174 in the province. Sindh
government is actively taking the necessary measures to control the epidemic.
The
Sindh government has decided to close down all restaurants, malls, shopping centers
from Wednesday March 18. This was announced by the spokesperson for the Sindh
government Barrister Murtaza Wahab through a tweet. He informed the people
through tweeter that only takeaway and delivery will be allowed at restaurants.
Additionally,
Section 144 will be imposed at the beach and parks. "It is
clarified that shopping stores and chemists will remain open. Citizens are once
again urged to cooperate," he concluded.
Sindh
government also announced to stop running the intercity buses from March 19.
Chief
Minister Murad Ali Shah said he wants to increase coronavirus testing capacity
from 200 to 5,000.
Restaurants
and shopping malls will be closed for 15-days.
K-Electric
directed to provide electricity without interruption while malls and
restaurants are closed.
Public
parks and Sea view will remain closed.
Restaurants
will not serve food in their premises and stop dinning-in services. But they
can provide take away food.
