Interior minister Ahsan Iqbal set the example

Ch. Ahsan Iqbal, the interior minister of Pakistan is a shining example for the protocol hungry and  status conscious politicians and bureaucrats. He traveled alone in a domestic flight from Islamabad to Lahore. He used the passenger van along with other passenger to reach the arriving lounge. He collected his luggage and went home in a private car without any protocol. There was nobody to receive him or to give him protocol.

It was a big surprise for the fellow passengers that their interior minister was traveling without any protocol. This is not the first time that he traveled without protocol. When he made the surprise visit to Islamabad airport couple of days ago, he was stopped at the gate by the security guards as he was alone. He showed his ID of interior minister to let in the airport. He did not inform the airport management and checked immigration counters.

Ahsan Iqbal has set the example for the other ministers and politicians. They should follow him.
