The workers, trade unions and labour movement around the world celebrating May Day through out the world. The workers pay homage to the heroic struggle of the Chicago workers who sacrificed their lives to get 8 hour working day. The American police killed many workers who were demanding 8 hour working day peacefully. The first May Day was organised in 1890. Since then workers movement celebrate this historic day of workers.
The conditions are not much better for the working class even today. The wages are low. they still work longer with minimum facilities. The Slave like conditions still exist. The working class needs to organise struggle to change the situation and to transform the lives of the millions of working class people.
