Punjab government launched training program for female domestic workers

Women development department of Punjab government launched training program for female domestic workers. Initially this program is initiated for Lahore, Faisalabad and Multan. Punjab Vocational Training Council (PVTC) will trained the female domestic workers. The duration of the  course will be three months. The government will also give 2000 rupees per month to the female trainees. The females aged between 18 to 35 years are eligible for this course.

The females will learn basic things about house keeping, baby sitting, cooking and to maintain hygiene and cleanliness. They will also be aware about their legal rights.

The women development department took a right decision to provide basic training to female domestic workers. It will help them to better understand their responsibilities and rights. After getting the training, they will be better equipped to safeguard their interests.
